
Oko Jerome Alex-Hounnouve’s
Oko hails from the Republic of Benin and Nigeria. He got his B.Phil from the Pontifical Urban Universitiy, Rome, and is currently a Master of Arts degree candidate at the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. He is an ardent thinker and scholar of the Conversational School of Philosophy (CSP) who is discontent with the present state of Africa. He seeks to contribute his quota to better the narrative of Africa and Africans through his participation in the Global Expansion of Thought (GET) orchestrated by the CSP. He believes that an intellectual transformation underlies whatever form of transformation that Africa and Africans need – be it social-cultural, political, religious, economic or educational. His research interest is in African philosophy, political philosophy, logic, anthropology, environmental ethics, Feminism and metaphysics. He is the co-editor of the book, Essays on Feminism in Honour of Prince Nico Mbaraga (2018).
