Evaristus Matthias graduated from the Department of Philosophy, University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. He is a member of the prestigious intellectual circle: The Conversational School of Philosophy.  Evaristus’ research interest is in African philosophy at large, but precisely, African Existentialism, Metaphysics, conversational ethics and gender studies. I also seek to explore the aspect of philosophy of Economics which seems to be underexplored, using the method of conversationalism to see how to articulate economic blue print for the sub-Saharan region and to also see how to encourage the implementation of indigenous economic principles that will aid sustainable development and industrialization in Africa. Evaristus is also interested in a long term academic career, with zealous passion for learning, teaching and research; these, he believes is the conditio sine qua non for mental, attitudinal and conceptual decolonization.
